Turn on two-step sign-in (2FA)

1. In your dashboard open Account, then Security (2FA), and press Set up.
2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password. If you cannot scan, type the key shown under the code.
3. Type the 6-digit code the app shows and press Turn on.
4. Save your 10 backup codes somewhere safe. They are shown once, and each works one time.

From then on, signing in asks for a code after your password. This includes Google and Apple sign-in, and the mobile app. Paste a backup code into the same box if your phone is lost.

• Five wrong codes in a row pause the code step for 15 minutes.
• To turn it off, or to get a new set of backup codes, you need a current code.
• Resetting your password does not turn two-step sign-in off.
