These terms are an agreement between you and IdentifyOrg. By creating an account or using our website, dashboard, API or mobile app you accept them. If you use IdentifyOrg for a business, you confirm you can accept them for that business.
Give us accurate details and keep your password, API keys and phone secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 18.
Test keys and test mode use pretend data and are never billed. Live keys call real services and are charged to your balance. Results in test mode are simulated and must not be relied on for real decisions.
You pay in naira from a prepaid balance. Prices are shown in the dashboard and on our pricing page and can change; a change does not affect work already done. If a paid action fails on our side or our providers' side, we refund it automatically. Otherwise charges are not refundable. Money collected for your business through our payment gateway is released to you under the limits and checks described in the dashboard.
Identity, address and biometric checks involve other people's personal data. You may run a check only when you have a lawful reason and, where the law requires it, the person's consent, and you must tell them why you are checking and what you will do with the result. You must follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and any rules that apply to your industry. You are responsible for how you use the results.
Our results come from third-party databases and our own analysis. They can be incomplete or wrong. A check is a tool to support your decision, not a guarantee.
The WhatsApp assistant links a number the way WhatsApp Web does. It is not an official WhatsApp Business API connection, and WhatsApp can restrict numbers that break its rules. Use a number dedicated to your business, answer customers who message you, and do not send mass or unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for a number that WhatsApp restricts.
We work to keep the service running as described in our Service Level Agreement. Parts of the service depend on banks, government databases and other providers that we do not control, so we cannot promise they will always work.
We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss caused by third-party providers, by information you gave us, or by how you used a result. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the app or the account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is needed to comply with the law. Money you are owed will be handled under the law and our records.
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may change these terms and will tell you about important changes before they apply. Using the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria can hear any dispute.
