Onboard customers in Ghana without a branch visit: read the document, prove a real person is present, and match their face to the card.
Document OCR reads Ghana Cards, passports and driver's licences and returns the fields as structured data. Liveness detection distinguishes a person from a photo or a replayed video. Face match scores the selfie against the photo on the document.
A direct Ghana Card lookup against NIA records will arrive as a dedicated endpoint. The registry in our API already lists it as coming, and GET /v1/countries shows its status the moment it is live.
Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and the Data Protection Commission set the rules for handling personal data, and financial regulators set KYC duties. We return results rather than keeping raw identity data; you remain responsible as the controller.
