In Tanzania a phone number is tied to a person through biometric SIM registration against the NIDA national ID, which makes the number a strong signal. IdentifyOrg lets Dar es Salaam teams confirm that a user holds a number with an SMS code and verify an ID document and selfie, priced in Tanzanian shillings.
NIDA issues the national ID with its National Identification Number (NIN). A direct NIDA lookup is on our roadmap. Document OCR, liveness and face match are available now for Tanzanian customers.
