Verify the phone, read the ID and run a liveness check before a policy or account is created.
South African businesses carry FICA onboarding duties and POPIA privacy duties in the same sign-up form. IdentifyOrg covers the parts that do not need a government database: phone verification by SMS, reading an ID document, liveness and face match, all priced in rand.
A South African ID number has 13 digits that encode the holder's date of birth, gender and citizenship, so a document OCR read gives you structured fields you can cross-check against what the customer typed. A live lookup against Home Affairs records is on our roadmap and is not available yet.
POPIA is overseen by the Information Regulator, and FICA obliges accountable institutions to verify customers. IdentifyOrg helps with the verification step, but whether a specific check satisfies your FICA obligations is for your compliance officer to decide.

BVN verification, NIN verification, Driver's licence (FRSC), Bank account name check, BVN to account match, CAC business registry check, Credit bureau score, Bills (airtime, data, electricity, TV), Business payment gateway (collections) depend on Nigerian records and are available for Nigeria only.
