Remote KYC for Kenyan lenders, saccos and platforms: read the ID, prove the person is present and match the face.
Document OCR reads the Kenyan national ID, passports and licences. Liveness detection rejects photos and replays. Face match compares the selfie to the card photo and returns a score you set a threshold on.
A direct national ID lookup is on our roadmap and will be listed as live in GET /v1/countries when it is.
The Data Protection Act, 2019 and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner apply to what you collect. We keep results, not raw ID data.
