The United States has no national ID, and Social Security numbers cannot be checked without a regulated data source. We do not offer SSN verification. We read driver's licences and passports, check liveness and compare the selfie to the document photo.
US numbers are ten digits, written (415) 555-0132 or +14155550132; the country code +1 is shared with Canada, so we use the area code to tell the two apart and do not serve Caribbean +1 numbers. Privacy is governed by state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA rather than one federal law.
