Phone number format

Australia mobile numbers are written locally as 0412 345 678 and internationally as +61412345678. The leading 0 is a national prefix: we drop it when we add +61, so local-format numbers work if you also send the country.

curl -X POST https://api.identifyorg.com/v1/phone/verify/start \
  -H "X-IdentifyOrg-Key: io_live_xxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \

# The same number in local format needs the country:
curl -X POST https://api.identifyorg.com/v1/phone/verify/start \
  -H "X-IdentifyOrg-Key: io_live_xxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "phone": "0412345678", "country": "AU" }'

Topping up your balance

Card payments in AUD, converted to your naira balance at the rate shown when you pay. Provider availability is set per country, and cards in US dollars are the fallback where a local-currency option is not open yet.

Data protection

Personal data in Australia is governed by the Privacy Act 1988. Phone verification stores only a salted hash of each code; check your own obligations as the data controller.
