Coming: Personalausweis verification

A Germany-specific identity check against the Personalausweis (Federal Ministry of the Interior) is planned. Until it launches, you can verify people in Germany with document OCR, liveness and face match, which work with any passport, national ID or driver's licence photo.

Phone number format

Germany mobile numbers are written locally as 0151 23456789 and internationally as +4915123456789. The leading 0 is a national prefix: we drop it when we add +49, so local-format numbers work if you also send the country.
