Banks and lenders
Check for reputational red flags before a loan or an account.
Stories are gathered, sorted by type and severity, and checked against the name, so you read what matters.
Sanctions lists only catch what authorities have already acted on. Adverse media screening looks at what is being reported: fraud allegations, corruption, money laundering, arrests, court cases, regulatory fines. IdentifyOrg searches recent online news for negative stories about a person or company, sorts each story by type and severity, and sets aside stories that appear to be about someone else with the same name. You get the headline, the source, the date, the type, the severity and a link for each story. Add a few words of context, such as 'Lagos fintech founder', and namesakes are easier to rule out. It is clear about its reach: it covers recent news, roughly the last three months, not older stories, print-only publications or paywalled reports. Read the stories and links before relying on a result.

Yes. A headline may not name the person, or a story may be about someone with the same name. That is why each story comes with its link, and why a person should read it before relying on a result.
It means no matching negative stories were found in the news we hold. It does not mean nothing exists elsewhere.
Yes, choose Company and add the city or industry as context.
