Flag PEPs at onboarding so they receive enhanced due diligence.
Identify politically exposed persons early, so they get the extra care your rules require.
A politically exposed person, or PEP, is someone who holds or has held a prominent public role, and financial institutions are expected to apply extra care to them. IdentifyOrg PEP screening checks a name against public records of heads of state and government, ministers, legislators, governors, judges, diplomats and senior officers. For each possible match you see the office, the dates, and whether the person is in office now or has left. Add a birth year and country and someone who simply shares the name is easy to rule out. The result is clear about its reach: it covers prominent office-holders with a public record, not every local official, and not relatives or close associates, so your team knows when to do its own enhanced due diligence. It is priced to run on every customer.

}When the test convinces you, the developer section shows exactly how to connect it: the endpoint, the request and response, SDKs for your language and webhooks.
No. It finds prominent office-holders with a public record: heads of state and government, ministers, legislators, governors, judges, diplomats and senior officers. It does not cover every local official, nor relatives or close associates. Use it as a first screen and apply your own enhanced due diligence where your rules require it.
That a person with this name is recorded as holding or having held an office, with the role and dates. A person must confirm it is the same individual.
They are shown as former, with the dates, and flagged if they left office within the last 12 months.
Please send the full name, at least two words. A single name gives too many false matches.
