Connect your own website to WhatsApp (way 2)

If you already have a website or app, you do not need to rebuild it. You can connect it to the WhatsApp number so customers can order from WhatsApp and your website sees every order. There are three separate things you can connect. Use one, two or all three.

A. Keep your product list on your website

The assistant's price list can read your website's list, so prices are always current.

1. Make a page on your website that returns your products as a simple list. Each product has an id, a name and a price (a code is optional).
2. Open WhatsApp, choose your number, then Settings, and find Take orders in this chat.
3. Paste the address of that list in the product list field and press Save. We read it again about every minute.

B. Send chats to your website

For messages that your own system should answer (for example order tracking or a custom search).

1. Open the My website tab and give the address on your website where we should send messages (it must start with https).
2. Copy the signing secret. Every message we send carries a signature made with it, so your website can check it really came from us and reject anything else.
3. Press Test. We send a test message and show you what your website answered.
4. Add a short message for customers to see if your website is slow or down.
5. Choose who answers messages that match no keyword: the AI assistant (best for most people) or your website.
6. Under Keywords, choose which words hand the chat to your website, for example order or track.

C. Choose who takes the payment

In Settings, under Take orders in this chat, choose:

• Our checkout (default): we take the payment and settle it to you. Nothing to build.
• Your own system: we send the order to your website, and the customer gets whatever your website answers, for example your own payment link. Nothing is charged through us.

Orders placed on your website

Customers who order on your website can still use our checkout. Your website creates the order, sends the customer to our checkout page, and we tell your website when it is paid. Some plans include connecting a website. If a tab is locked, the Plan tab shows what to switch on. You can start with way 1 and connect your website later without losing anything.
