When you can withdraw money you have collected

Collected money shows in your balance at once and becomes withdrawable after 24 hours. Here is what settling and a hold mean.

Every payment you collect, whether from a payment link, a customer's account number, a WhatsApp order or an installment plan, follows the same rule.

Settling: the moment a payment arrives it is added to your balance, and you can see it. It cannot be withdrawn yet.
Available: 24 hours after it arrived, it settles by itself and can be withdrawn. You do not need to ask, and we tell you when it settles.
On hold: in special cases our team may put a payment on hold while it is checked, for example if the payer reports a problem or the activity needs looking into. A held payment stays visible with the reason, and cannot be withdrawn, even after 24 hours, until we release it. When we release it, it can be withdrawn at once.

Each payment in the Take Payments page and in the API shows its state (settling, on hold or available) and when it becomes withdrawable.

Withdrawing

Open Take Payments.
Check the amount under Ready to withdraw.
Choose your bank account and press Withdraw. We check the account name with the bank first, so a typing mistake cannot send your money to the wrong person.
