Connect your WhatsApp number

IdentifyOrg gives your business a WhatsApp assistant on the number you already use. It answers customer questions day and night from the information you give it, and hands the chat to you when a person is needed. The same number can also take orders, send codes and send updates (see the related guides).

1. Open WhatsApp in your dashboard. Type a name for the number (this is only for you, for example your shop name) and press Add.
2. A QR code appears. On the phone that has your business WhatsApp, open WhatsApp, go to Settings, then Linked devices, then Link a device, and scan the code. You do not install anything.
3. When the status says Connected, open the Business tab and tell the assistant about your business: what you sell, prices, opening hours, delivery areas and how you like to talk. You can paste text, add your website address, or upload a PDF in the Train tab.
4. Open the Chats tab to read every conversation. You can answer yourself at any time (the assistant steps back on that chat), or let it take over again.
5. In the Settings tab you can pause the assistant.

• Keep the phone connected to the internet and do not remove the linked device in WhatsApp, or the number will disconnect (we tell you if it does).
• Use one number for one business. Use it to answer your customers.
• You get a free trial; after that you choose a monthly plan or pay a small amount per answered message. See the Plan tab.

Developers can create and manage numbers through the WhatsApp API.
